Tomás Michael do Rosário da Luz completed his Master's degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering in November 2023 at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and his Bachelor's degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering in July 2021, also at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. He is a researcher at the University of Porto, Laboratory of Separation and Reaction Processes, Laboratory of Catalysis and Materials, Leiria campus. Currently, his research work is focused on technologies for the treatment of agro-industrial wastewater, with an emphasis on vermifiltration and hydroponics. He has contributed to some scientific productions, including articles and communications at specialized conferences; he presented the results of his work orally at the 5th and 6th international Congress on Education, Environment and Development, held in Leiria.
