I am currently a PhD student in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes at University of Aveiro and NOVA University of Lisbon (Portugal) and Université du Québec à Rimouski (Canada). My PhD project focuses on the comparison of amphipods¿ responses to global change drivers between different climatic regions and generations using a systems biology approach. I have completed the Bachelor in Biology and Geology in 2017 (University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro), with one semester at Universitatea din Bucuresti in Romania by ERASMUS+ Mobility Program. Subsequently, I had completed a Master in Marine Biology at the University of Aveiro where I studied the thermal tolerance and acclimation capacity of the ragworm Hediste diversicolor under global change scenarios. After the master, I worked as research fellow under a Canadian project at University of Aveiro. I have been and I am involved in more than five projects, three of them international ones. I did two volunteer internships, one of which was an international project. I have five article published, four poster presented at an international conference, and two oral communications at an international conference too. Moreover, I participated in several conferences and workshops. Additionally I co-organized two scientific events. Besides my academic career, I am currently member of the Communication Team Committee in OYSTER (Orienting Young ScienTists of EuromaRine). I have been enrolled as Main Coordinator of Board Assembly of Biology and Geology Students Association (NEBIG-UTAD). My research interests include: Global Changes, Marine Ecophysiology, Multi-Omics and Multiple Stressors.
