Master in Biomedical Engineering by University of Minho (since 2016), pursued a scientifc carrer at Centre of Biological Engineering (CEB) since then, participating in different research projects, all related with medical biotechnology. In 2018 started her PhD in Bioengineering under the MIT-Portugal Program financed by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. She developled her PhD activities at CEB and International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL, Braga). Diana A. Sousa is author and co-author of a total of 5 papers in international journals with peer review , 1 book chapter, and authored 11 communications (3 oral and 8 poster) in national and international conferences.
