Carla A. S. Geraldes is Assistant Professor at the Industrial Management Department of the School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal. She graduated in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Production Management) at the University of Porto, Portugal; holds a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering (specialization in Logistics and Distribution), and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering both from University of Minho, Portugal. She is a researcher, as collaborator member, of the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation Systems (SLoTS) research group of the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) R&D research line of CENTRO ALGORITMI research unit, University of Minho, Portugal and a collaborator researcher of the Research Centre in Digitalization and intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) research unit, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal. Her main research interests are in the fields of Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Industrial Management, Industry 4.0, Operational Research techniques and applications, and Mathematical Modelling areas. She has teaching experience in Logistics, Operational Research, Statistics, Inventory Management, and Operations Management. It is in these areas that participates in both international and national R&D projects and has co-authored published papers. In recent years, Carla A. S. Geraldes has been supervising several final course projects and master dissertations in the fields of supply chain management and operations management areas.
