Tiago G Paiva, has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at Centro de Quimica Estrutural at Instituto Superior Tecnico since April 2024 in the FCT funded project CorkCap - CORK based electrodes for eco-conscious supercapacitors - towards zero emission energy storage. Between 2018 and 2023 was a PhD student at Cenimat Instituto de Nanoestruturas Nanomodelação e Nanofabricação (i3N) working in the development of cellulose based gel polymer electrolytes. Between 2016- 2018 was a MSc-research fellow in the CleanART - Innovative green methodology to clean fungal stains from paper documents and artworks project working on the development of new ionic liquid based cleaning solution for fungi-melanin stained paper artwork. Has 3 fist author research paper, being also the corresponding author in one. Two research papers as a contributing author, a contribution in a book chapter, co-inventor in a national patent and a published open source software for NMR data processing. Has been involved in numerous science outreach and dissimination events and been a active member of the research labs that has integrated in the group's activities.
