José Joaquim Marques da Costa is master, and doctor in Psychology, and is licensed in Communication and Multimedia Design.
                  He has been teaching at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra since 1988 has taught
                  courses in the area of Educational Psychology, Personality Psychology, Project Management, and Evaluation as well as Information
                  Technology, Digital Literacy, and Information Technologies and Communication in Organizations. His research interests focus
                  on Educational Psychology, Personality Psychology, and the use ICT in different contexts. He has performed diverse activities
                  in support of activities for the dissemination of scientific information in academic and professional contexts.  In 2010,
                  an application was performed for the FCT IC&DT call with the project BFlexi - Towards a healthy and flexible internet use
                  in emergent adults: a randomized control trial of mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion-based program in at-risk subjects
                  (PTDC/PSI-ESP/6080/2020). The BFlexi project studies the (mis)use of the Internet and its relationship with psychopathology/well-being
                  and 3rd Generation variables (mindfulness, compassion, acceptance, and values). It also includes the study of the effectiveness
                  of a program for emerging adults at risk of developing an addiction to the internet. He is a fellow researcher.
