Cristina Fernandes (female) is the Materials Development responsible at Palbit S.A. since 2016. Over the last years, she performed research on alternative binders to replace traditional cobalt used in cemented carbide cutting tools and on innovative processing techniques (sputter deposition on WC powder particles, high energy ball milling, selective laser sintering). She is responsable for the technical managment and coordination of I&D projects with academic institutions and Palbit S.A. She have also performed orientation of master and doctoral students.
