Renato is a Senior Scientist with 6 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and leading roles in the development and research studies of products in the fields of aesthetic/dermatology and skin regenerative medicine. Has a deep understanding of the preclinical drug development process and experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a translational setting. It has supervised and coordinate the scientific teams in the execution of different projects, being able to interact with multidisciplinary teams (regulatory affairs and production). Throughout its path Renato has always kept the focus in life sciences and the clinical applicability of its biomedical research. From its PhD in biological chemistry in 2014 up to now Renato has acquired a considerable array of technical competences in distinct research areas such as: Chemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, data analysis, and in vivo testing. Additionally, he has also developed several soft skills from which he highlights leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving attitude, teamwork, and communication. Those skills were developed upon a rigorous work method as well as the ability to be critic and the need to understand beyond. He has also a strong ability to take leadership and collaborate in the design, execution, and project management activities. Author of 13 publications in peer-reviewed journals and two international patents in the field of skin regenerative medicine.
