Researcher at Instituto Superior de Agronomia, University of Lisbon, Portugal. She has a degree in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2000), a Master's Degree in Forestry Sciences from the Federal University of Viçosa (2004) and a PhD in Technology and Use of Forest Products from the Federal University of Viçosa (2010). Post-doctorate (2012) at UFV and ISA (2018). She received a scientific research scholarship during her undergraduate degree in the area of Pulp and Paper, has experience in the area of Forest Resources, working mainly in the following areas: Biomass Energy (Pellets, Briquettes and Charcoal), Wood Panels, Adhesives and Heat Treatment of Wood. Has published 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals (8 as leading author and 7 last author), participated in 15 projects (the last project as PI) and is a Guest Editor on Forests and Polymers Journals (MDPI). She is currently supervising two Environmental Engineering students MSc thesis besides supervising (both in the past and present) part of the lab work of several PhD students.
