Rúben Lourenço completed the Integrated Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018, by University of Aveiro and a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energies in 2014, by University of the Azores (Angra do Heroísmo). Participated in the project "Smart Green Homes" as research fellow, in the Department of Environment and Planning of University of Aveiro, from Jul/2019 to Sep/2020, developing work in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics applied to indoor air quality. Currently a PhD student University of Aveiro and research fellow at Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA). Works in the field of Computational Mechanics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, aiming the development of implicit constitutive models. Experience using simulation software: ANSYS, Abaqus, Solidworks and OpenFOAM. Enthusiastic about the field of programming and software development, with demonstrated work and experience in the following languages: MATLAB, Python, Java (Android) and Visual Basic.
