Rita Soares graduated in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal) in 2015, gaining a solid background across various scientific areas, from molecular biology to mathematics and programming. She then earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at Instituto de Medicina Molecular (Lisbon, Portugal). Rita won first prize in the StartHealth@ULisboa business acceleration program and received five mobility grants from international organizations/projects. Throughout her training, she presented her work at several international and national conferences and published four first-author papers. She is currently working as a Science Manager at the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry, and Dynamical Systems (CAMGSD) at Instituto Superior Técnico.
