Engenheiro mecânico a concluir o Doutoramento em Integridade Estrutural na Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra. Possui uma sólida formação académica, incluindo um mestrado em Engenharia mecânica, concluído em 2020/02/28, com especialização na Construção e Manutenção de Equipamentos Mecânicos, bem como a licenciatura em Engenharia Mecânica, concluída em 2017/09/22 pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. Foi durante o seu percurso académico que descobriu o gosto pela área da Integridade Estrutural, mais concretamente no comportamento de materiais em serviço. Posto isto, focou-se no estudo do comportamento à fadiga de materiais metálicos produzidos por fabricação aditiva. Concorreu e viu aprovadas as candidaturas a bolsas de investigação para aprofundar estudos sobre a fadiga e propagação de fendas em ligas de alumínio e aços maraging. A sua dedicação à investigação traduz em nove artigos publicados em revistas internacionais da especialidade. Publicou ainda em conferências nacionais e internacionais com foco no estudo da fadiga em componentes produzidos por Laser Powder Bed Fusion, também conhecido por Fusão Seletiva a Laser.
