I'm a data analyst with a PhD in Biology and a MSc in computational biology. I mainly focus on the intersection of ecology and computational techniques, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and I'm interested in the management and processing of biological data, programming, and geographic information systems. During my MSc, I assessed mortality causes and rates of the little bustard (Tetrax tetrax) in the Iberian Peninsula, and later in the PhD forecasted the impacts of anthropogenic changes on Mediterranean farmland birds, focusing on the lesser kestrel (Falco naumanni) and the white stork (Ciconia ciconia). I was also a bioinformatics and statistical consultant and then a researcher at the ISCTE Business School, contributing to a project focusing on public engagement at research institutes.
