Inês Órfão has a PhD in Biology (specialty Ethology) finished in 2018 at Lisbon University with thesis deserving distinction, and a MsC in Ecology and Environmental Management. Main research areas are evolutionary biology, ecology and conservation, having published 5 scientific manuscripts, participated on 5 international and 10 national conferences. Additionally, published 1 book chapter on animal behaviour (2009). Have reviewed manuscripts to numerous scientific journals (e.g., Animal Behaviour, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society), wrote technical reports on the impact of constructions and related with human-wildlife conflicts.
