Tânia Nobre (Bióloga): Concluiu a Licenciatura em Biologia Aplicada aos Recursos Animais em 1998 pela Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Obteve o doutoramentpo (PhD) em Biological Sciences em 2007 pela University of London. Posteriormente, foi para a Universidade de Wageningen (NL) com uma Marie Curie IEF e ficou até 2013 como Investigadora. Voltou para Portugal em 2013, para a Universidade de Évora (PT) com um projeto Marie Curie Career Development da UE e uma BCC da FCT. Publicou mais de 40 artigos em revistas especializadas, possui 4 capítulo(s) de livros e diversas apresentações públicas. Oficialmente orientou duas teses de mestrado, um doutoramento e um pós-doutoramento, todos concluídos com sucesso. Atua sobretudo nas áreas de Ciências Biológicas com ênfase em Entomologia e Ciências Agrárias e na Produção e Proteção de Plantas. Das diversas aptidões pessoais salienta-se boa capacidade de comunicação, tanto verbal como escrita; criatividade motivada pela procura de soluções; determinação; boas capacidades de gestão e organização de projectos/tempos. Os principais interesses de investigação centram-se na simbiose, co-evolução e co-especiação dos parceiros, e numa perspectiva mais abrangente, na interacção organismo-organismo e interação organismo-ambiente, em gestãointegrada de pragas e em resposta a“climate change”.
