Arunabha Bose is a young researcher with a keen interest in the mechanisms of cell division. She completed her PhD in 2019 at ACTREC, India, under the supervision of Dr. Sorab Dalal. Her work was focussed on the contribution of 14-3-3 proteins in the regulation of the centrosome cycle, which resulted in 2 first authors papers (one under review), 1 second author paper and 1 invited review for a book chapter. During this period, she successfully co-supervised the dissertation projects of 6 Master's and 1 Bachelor's student. She also attended several and presented posters at several international conferences and organized 2 conferences. In 2019, she moved to Portugal, after securing a postdoctoral fellowship funded by an ERC Starting Grant at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência under Dr. Raquel Oliveira's supervision. Here, she is passionate about exploring the processes governing mitotic fidelity. She is also a member of the IGC Postdoc committee.
