Alícia Pereira completed her Master's Degree in Conservation Biology in 2022 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 2019 at ISPA - Instituto Universitário de Ciências Psicológicas, Sociais e da Vida. She has experience in in vivo trials with fish, bivalves and macroalgae under climate change conditions and contaminant related stressors, marine fish physiology, biochemical and molecular biomarker analysis and evaluation of quality and bioactivity of fish products. She is currently a research technician at Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR), working in a Horizon Europe project (INNOECOFOOD). She has been involved in 3 R&D projects and has published 5 research papers (three as first author; h index 2), 6 oral communications and 7 posters at international conferences.
