I am PhD student in INESC MN (@ IST) and has the FCT grant since 2020. The main focus of my PhD is: Flexible radio frequency energy harvesters for wearable electronics. I work in the areas of Exact Sciences with an emphasis on Physics, Engineering Sciences and Technologies, Engineering Sciences and Technologies with an emphasis on Materials Engineering and Engineering Sciences and Technologies with an emphasis on Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials. Technical Skills: Screen and transfer printing techniques (independent handling); Graphene synthesis, using the liquid phase exfoliation method (using a sonicator - independent handling); Characterization of flexible textile substrates using surface characterization using OCA 20 from Data Physics Instruments; Handling in scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersion X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) - training carried out at the University of Aveiro; Characterization of flexible textile materials using techniques such as: Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersion X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and electrical characterization tests (with Keysight equipment) , in an environment controlled by a Reach-In climatic chamber, from the Aralab chamber range; Functionalization of surfaces with chemical doping agents, in order to optimize electrical characteristics; Transfer of thin graphene films produced by CVD, to flexible textile substrates (chemical etching and chemical transfer). I have good organizational and planning skills, adaptability in multicultural environments and excellent spirit team, acquired through educational experience as a student, and research fellow at University of Aveiro, CICECO, and now in INESC MN at IST. Other extracurricular activities include volunteering (projects associated with Florinhas de Vouga), member of the online radio RVN, and sports.
