Ana Catarina Foles completed her PhD program in Mechatronics and Energy Engineering in 2023. She also has a Master in Solar Energy Engineering (2017) and a Bachelor degree in Renewable Energy Engineering (2015). She is passionate about the field of Solar Energy Engineering, and in recent years has focused her work on the Energy Management of Photovoltaic Solar Energy and Energy Storage technologies (vanadium redox flow batteries, lithium-ion (and second-life), nickel sodium chloride and supercapacitor).
