Verónica Costa Oliveira is researcher at Applied Research Institute of Polytecnhnic of Coimbra. She completed her PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering in march 2021 by University of Aveiro. She is young researcher who has already participated in more than 10 international and national projects. Published almost 20 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals (h-index: 12), 1 book, 8 book chapters. 20 oral presentations and 12 poster presentations in national and international conferences/events. Organized more than 20 national technical-scientific events/webinars. Dr. Oliveira is guest editor in Sustainability with the special issue: From solis waste to resources: recycling, valorization and treatment technologies. The main area of scientific activity is electrodialytic extraction and chemical precipitation processes, where the research is focusing on extraction of phosphorus from contaminated municipal waste and its conversion into a fertilizer.
