Daniela Sofia Simões is a Ph.D. student, who completed her Master's degree in Human Biology and Environment in 2018 and her graduation in Biology in 2016, all from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. In the meantime, she was a research fellow at Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária, where she participated in the GO-Qualimilho project (April 2019 to February 2021) and in the SmartAgriHubs (March 2021 to April 2022). Then she changed to ITQB, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and participated in other two projects (May 2022 to February 2023). In March 2023, Daniela started her Ph.D. program in Biodiversity, Genetics, and Evolution, at the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon. She has worked in Biological, Health, and Agrarian Sciences with an emphasis on Mycology and Molecular and Cell Biology.
