José Braga is a Science and Technology Manager at UCIBIO anD LAQV (REQUIMTE). His expertise spans the domains of information technology and science management. In his capacity as an IT specialist, he is the sole responsible for the end-to-end development and continuous evolution of a web application that serves as a pivotal data management platform for all researchers within LAQV and UCIBIO research units. Additionally, he manages the UCIBIO public website. In his role as a science manager, he actively manages the team information, contribute to institutional grant applications, and gather and analyze diverse scientific productivity indicators. He produces comprehensive reports which are the result of collaborative work within the science management team. Recently, he has assumed the role of an invited assistant professor at the NOVA School of Business and Economics, where he instructs undergraduate students on "Computer Programming". He completed his PhD in Biophysics in 2007 by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and Licenciatura in Engenharia Física Tecnológica in 1999 by Instituto Superior Técnico da Universidade de Lisboa.
