Currently, Susana is a PhD student specializing in Public Health (Epidemiology) at the National School of Public Health, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. She holds a Master's degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. As a research fellow funded by the Comprehensive Health Research Center in partnership with the Foundation for Science and Technology, her primary focus lies in developing interventions to enhance the musculoskeletal health of the Portuguese population. Specifically, she is dedicated to implementing models of care within health services to improve health outcomes and system sustainability.
