Paulo Manuel Monteiro Alexandre is a Specialist Professor in Finance, Banking, and Insurance, a title awarded in 2014 by the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. He holds a Master’s degree in Management and Industrial Strategy (2004) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management (1994), both from ISEG – University of Lisbon. Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, where he also leads the Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. With over 80 research publications in Finance, including 3 articles ranked in the SOCUPS Q1 category, he is recognized as a prominent academic in his field. Additionally, he coordinates the Envolver project (Support Project for Financing the Economy) in Angola, funded by the European Union for the 2021-2025 period. Alongside his academic career, Paulo Alexandre brings 20 years of experience in the banking sector, holding leadership roles in Credit Risk, Factoring, and Corporate Banking in institutions such as BNU, Banco Atlântico (Spain) – Portugal Branch, BCP, and Caja Duero – Portugal Branch.
