She graduated in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in 2012, where she also completed her master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2015. She obtained her PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in 2019, supported by a CAPES scholarship. During her PhD, she completed a doctoral research stay at the Institute for Polymers, Composites, and Biomaterials (IPCB-CNR) in Italy, returning there in 2023 for a postdoctoral fellowship. Her research focuses on developing sustainable composites and nanocomposites from agricultural and forestry waste as environmentally friendly alternatives to petroleum-based materials. In 2025, she joined the Emart-CICECO group at ESAN, a leader in additive manufacturing. She is currently investigating functional materials for 3D and 4D printing, with a focus on biopolymers, natural additives, and the reuse of post-consumer waste for sustainable industrial applications. She has published 27 articles in peer-reviewed journals, accumulating 412 citations and an h-index of 10. She actively collaborates on research projects with Brazilian (UFCG, UFRN, UFPE) and Italian (IPCB-CNR) institutions, contributing to innovation in the bioeconomy and advanced manufacturing
