PhD student in Public Policy at ISCTE-IUL, has a master’s degree in health education at the University of Porto, and more than 10 years of experience as project manager in European projects dedicated to education and social innovation. As a result of fruitful collaborations with European higher education entities over the years, further developed and applied scientific practices in school-based interventions and participated in conferences and in the elaboration of publications. In the last two years, had the opportunity to research in the area of inclusive education with the team at the Centre for Research and Innovation in Education (InED) within the Polytechnic of Porto; this experience increased the interested in pursuing an academic career in public policies and specifically concerning the role or European Union as a global partner defending Human Rights.
