Mariana da Silva Carreira is a young scientist highly motivated about biomedical research. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences (2017) and a Master's degree in Biochemistry (2019) from University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal). In 2018 she joined the COMPASS Research Group from CICECO-Aveiro Institute of Materials from University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal) to accomplish her Master thesis project. Currently, she is a PhD. student in Medical Biotechnology at the COMPASS Research Group (University of Aveiro). Her main research interests focus on regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and stem cells-based medical therapies.
