Isabel Seguro is a PhD student (Doctoral Program in Sustainable Chemistry) since 2023 with a FCT scholarship (2022.12344.BD/FCT). She has a Degree and a Master in Chemistry (Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto). From 2019 to 2022 she was a grant holder in the national project FARMASENSE (NORTE-01-0247-FEDER-039957), her work was foccused on the development of analytical methodologies for pharmaceuticals analysis in water using molecularly imprinted polymers. Since 2022 she is a team member of the project PaperSenseMIP - Paper-based molecularly imprinted polymer devices for the analysis of pharmaceuticals (PTDC/QUI-QAN/3899/2021). Her PhD project is Design of disposable and low-cost paper-based analytical devices for detection of pharmaceuticals in water. She has five papers published in international peer-reviewed (ISI) journals.
