I'm a recently graduated M.Sc. in in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine at NOVA School of Science and Technology. I've a keen interest in toxicants and their models of action. Undertook my master's thesis at SeaTox Lab. This thesis aimed essentially at englobed the identification of CYP and EH genes coding sequences in Mytilus sp. and verify expression in toxicological challenge. I undertook a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at FCT-NOVA, from 2018 to 2021. So far, I’ve gained experience in several laboratorial techniques in different research fields, which include - molecular toxicology, biochesmistry, bioinformatics and histology. Not only that but I’ve also obtained experience in husbandry with mussels.
