Liliana Dinis is a postdoctoral researcher at CATOLICA-LISBON, School of Business and Economics. Her research primarily focuses on family business dynamics, exploring areas such as the founder’s long-lasting imprints across generations, the interplay between the founder's influence and innovation, emotional dimensions in organizational behaviour, and the strategic use of historical narratives in family enterprises. Liliana received her PhD in Organizations Studies from Nova School of Business and Economics, where she was awarded distinction and honour for her exceptional work. Under the supervision of Pedro Neves, her doctoral research contributed significantly to the understanding of family business operations and strategy. Further Liliana has been thrice honoured with the award for the best paper at international research conferences. Before her doctoral pursuits, Liliana earned an M.Sc. in Applied Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Her professional background includes roles as a CFO and CHRO in a family business, as well as a Financial Advisor in an investment bank.
