I am Yu Xuechun, currently a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon, Portugal, and an individual researcher at the Macau Scientific and Cultural Center of Portugal. I completed my undergraduate studies in Portuguese Language and Culture (Portuguese-English Bilingual) at Tianjin Foreign Studies University, China. I obtained my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Portuguese as Foreign Language/Second Language from the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon. My main research areas include intercultural communication, ICALL (Intelligent Computer-Assisted Language Learning), linguistic landscape, and the design and evaluation of convergent media digital teaching materials. I have published several papers on topics such as ICALL autonomous learning and the linguistic landscape of Macau's road signs in indexed journals (e.g., Diacrítica) and international conferences (e.g., EUROCALL). I have also served as a peer reviewer for conferences and journals including EUROCALL and elingUP. Since joining the postdoctoral program in September 2024, I have been conducting research on the multimodal presentation of traditional Chinese culture in Chinese-Portuguese bilingual formats from the perspective of digital humanities. I organized the development of the "Visual Orient" website at the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon, and facilitated Zhejiang University's donation of the complete set of "A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings" (6 volumes, 226 books) and "A Comprehensive Collection of Chinese Silks" to the Library of the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon, where I also facilitated the establishment of the first "China's Book Section" ; and also facilitated the signing of a cooperation agreement between the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon (Portugal) and the School of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University (China), as well as the establishment of an exchange and cooperation mechanism with the Palace Museum (China).
