Oussama Hadj Abdelkader obtained a Licence degree in Automation in 2011/06 from the Faculty of Technology of the University of Tlemcen in Algeria. He also obtained a Master's degree in Automation, Process Control in 2013/10/06 from the same faculty. Furthermore, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Automation, Process control in 2019/09/25 from the Laboratory of Automation of Tlemcen, at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Tlemcen. During his Ph.D. studies, he published 2 articles in journals together with 1 section of a book resulting from his participation in a conference in the field of mathematical and computational biology. Moreover, In the same period while he was doing his Ph.D. studies, he also ensured some practical classes and training on basic optimization, numerical methods, and PLC programming for the Licence and Master's class students as a temporary teacher in the University of Tlemcen. He is currently working as a researcher in the Research Center of Systems and Technologies, at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto. In his research work, he is participating in the MAGIC project as a specialist in the areas of Engineering and Technology, in the field of Automation and Control Systems Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Environmental Biotechnology.
