possui graduação magna cum laude em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2004), mestrado (2005) e doutorado (2009) em Química Biológica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, pós-doutorado no National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID/NIH) (2012), e pós-doutorado no Laboratório de termodinâmica de proteínas virais Gregório Weber (IBqM/UFRJ) (2009-2014) como bolsista Pós-doutorado Nota 10 da FAPERJ. Professora do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro de 2014 a 2018. É Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado FAPERJ desde 2018. É atualmente Professora Adjunta da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, onde orienta alunos de iniciação científica, mestrado e doutorado, como docente permanente do Programa de Pós graduação em Química Biológica. Tem experiência na área de bioquímica e biofísica, com ênfase em biologia estrutural de proteínas e glicobiologia, com foco no estudo das bases moleculares, terapia e diagnóstico das doenças neurodegenerativas.
