As the CEO of AccelBio, a collaborative laboratory that accelerates the translation of biomedical research into innovative products and services, I lead the strategic vision, external relations, business development, and operational management of the organization. With a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and years of experience as a Technology Transfer Officer at Instituto de Medicina Molecular, I have a proven track record of screening, evaluating, marketing, and licensing new technologies derived from R&D projects in the fields of oncology, neurology, immunology, and infection. I also have extensive experience in promoting research collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, supporting investigator-initiated studies, managing intellectual property, and supporting the creation of start-ups. I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and advancing the health and well-being of society. I value collaboration, diversity, and excellence, and I strive to bring these principles to AccelBio and its partners.
