I am a Portuguese medical doctor with a PhD in clinical neurosciences (neuroelectrophysiology) from the University of Coimbra. I have finished my doctorate (PhD) in September 2021 from the University of Coimbra with distinction with honors. I have solid experience of more than 10 years and skills in working with EEG, MRI, fMRI, MEG, MRS, and PET. My work ranges from basic cognitive neuroscience to advanced analysis for diagnostic purposes in patients with medically refractory epilepsy. I am also involved in public health awareness programs related to Epilepsy. In addition to my scientific and clinical experience, I have excellent experience in academic writing, top management skills, and the ability for both working in a team and team-leadership. I have given some orientation to master students during my PhD, guided young doctors to pursue a research career, and been the jury of biomedical engineers defending their thesis.
