Electronic engineer specialized in embedded systems and IC design. Background in HMI research, Linux systems and hardware design using HDL languages for FPGA and ASIC. I have a Master degree in Electronics Engineer and Computers and a Ph.D. in Advanced Engineering Systems for Industry from University of Minho. My PhD, a partenership between Bosch Car Multimedia S.A. and University of Minho, was focus on the design of readout systems for time-based automotive sensors. I was an invited professor at Insituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave and at University of Minho, lecturing classes related with microcontroller architectures and operating systems. I was also part of Bosch HMI Excel project and the INNOVCAR project, working in Human Machine Interface concept implementation. My latest research works are related with LiDAR sensors, IoT end-node devices, and digital systems design for FPGA and ASIC technology.
