Andreea Ogrezeanu is currently a Research Assistant of the FCT funded JUSTFOOD Project, responsible with carrying out participatory research in Romania. The project employs ethnographic methods to investigate Alternative Food Networks and their contribution to food justice in Romania and Portugal. She holds a PhD in Social Impact Assessment from the University Politehnica of Bucharest and a BA in Sociology from University of Bucharest. Throughout her professional experience, over more than 15 years, she has worked in different projects, in business and NGOs organizations, in studies such as: feasibility studies, need assessment, developmental impact assessment, social impact assessment, rural development and socio-environment protection, vulnerable groups, child protection). Her social and anthropological research interests have also been reaching a broader audience related to oral history and everyday life of people affected by socio-political transformations during post-communism. She created her own personal blog in Romanian - Calatorul social (The Social Traveller) http://calatorulsocial.blogspot.com/ - where she publishes life stories of homeless, displaced, elderly, and other vulnerable subjects who found themselves in uncertain and difficult situations.
