Erika Barrak is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Coimbra and a research fellow at the Center for industrial ecology/ADAI-LAETA. She worked on research project associated with Life Cycle assessment (LCA) and circular economy of building product, and she is working on research project in LCA of bio-additives for plastics. She holds a master's degree in Energy Engineering at Universidade Federal de Itajubá (Itajubá, Brazil) and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Itajubá (Itajubá, Brazil). Previous experiences include an internship at COSIPA (steel industry) (Cubatão, Brazil), Internship at Reanault (Maubeuge, France) and Test Engineer at Johnson&Johnson (São José dos Campos, Brazil). She has published 1 article and has participated in two congresses and one seminar.
