Diogo Almeida is pursuing a BSc in Biochemistry at NOVA School of Science and Technology, which he began in September 2022. In addition, he is currently working at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) as a research assistant under the supervision of Professor Isabel Marrucho and PhD Inês Gomes da Silva. His research focuses on the development of natural electrolytes based on eutectic systems for supercapacitors, with emphasis on applying machine learning techniques to unveil patterns in physicochemical phenomena, specifically phase diagrams.
