My academic formation gave me an excellent background in biomedicine, cellular and molecular biology. The participation in different projects and in different research groups allowed me to specialize and expand my knowledge, mostly in oncobiology and in molecular and human genetics. During my master thesis, I was interested in identifying new candidate g enes that may confer susceptibility for familiar thyroid cancer. In 2017 I joined LCosta Lab, where I integrated several projects related with advanced cancer. My current research interests are the molecular mechanism involved in breast cancer. My work has been focused on the prognostic and therapeutic value of NFkB Activator Receptor (RANK) in breast cancer. Currently, I aim to identify the mechanism(s) by which RANK-pathway can induce resistance to therapy
