Ana Sofia Santiago holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro. She has more than ten years of experience as a science & technology manager at the Centre of Environmental and Marine Studies (CESAM) of the Universidade de Aveiro. During this time, she is having an important role in building the international and national visibility and excellence of CESAM and fulfilling the management and communication gaps between the CESAM direction and its research community.
