I am an evolutionary biologist interested in biodiversity conservation, in the context of fisheries and biological invasions. My research aims to apply evolutionary principles to understand ecological dynamics. I have specialized on the use next generation sequencing tools to infer the adaptive potential, at molecular level, of populations of endangered species, non-indigenous species and those expanding their distribution due to climate change.
