I consider myself a young scientist who is deeply motivated, dedicated, hard-working and enthusiastic to pursue an academic/ scientific career in ecology, particularly on the understanding of ecological interactions between organisms and the impact that increasingly prevalent environmental stochasticity and environmental stressors such as climate change might have on the disruption of those interactions. This fuelled my interest in devoting myself to this area, to contribute to the study and conservation of animal life. I also have experience in some methodologies, such as: deploying tracking devices on several seabird species; collecting blood, fat, faeces and feathers samples from seabirds; coping with harsh climate conditions and unexpected wild animals’ behaviours; stable isotope analysis; managing datasets; conducting statistical procedures within the R-environment and georeferenced data analysis in QGIS.
