Célia Maria Gonçalves Soares. Completed PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2012 in the School of Engineering of University of Minho, studying the occurrence of mycotoxins in food commodities. She has developed her activity in the field of mycology participating in the description of 5 new species of fungi and maintaining the role of curator of a filamentous fungal culture collection, Micoteca da Universidade do Minho (MUM).   1. Mycotoxin contamination of Maize and Guinea corn from markets in Plateau State, Nigeria. Maize (Zea mays) and guinea corn (Sorghum bicolor) are major food items in Plateau state, Nigeria.
