Gabriela de Jesus Campos is a Research Fellow at the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering, University of Aveiro, as part of the BIOCOATING project, which focuses on the development of active biodegradable bioplastics for paper packaging coatings. She completed her Master’s in Materials Engineering (UA, 2023) with the dissertation "Functional design applied to additive manufacturing of bioplastic packaging" and is currently in the final stage of her Master’s in Engineering and Product Design, where she is developing a more sustainable and safer boxing glove. She has been involved in relevant research projects, including the R&D Cell4Janus Project, which focuses on cellulose-based sustainable materials for environmental remediation, contributing to scientific conferences and publications. She has experience in project management, CAD modelling and simulation, graphic design, and the development of innovative products. With a multidisciplinary profile, she integrates engineering, sustainability, and design to create innovative and responsible solutions in the materials sector. She intends to pursue a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Aveiro.
