João Torrado Malato

João Malato completed his PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Computational Biology in 2024 at the Faculty of Medicine University of Lisbon. He holds an MSc degree in Biostatistics from the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon, and a BSc in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences University of Porto. Since May of 2024, João has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine. He has authored 9 publications and 2 proceedings book chapters (6 as first author), interacting with 51 collaborators in co-authoring. He has 1 book chapter. His multidisciplinary work deals in the areas of Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Biology, Immunology and Epidemiology.
