INÊS PEREIRA RODRIGUES is an Invited Auxiliary Professor in Philosophy at University of Évora. She is a researcher at Praxis - Centre of Philosophy, Politics, and Culture, and at Philosophy and Gender Centre of the Portuguese Philosophy Society (SPF). Inês completed a Phd from Universidade da Beira Interior in 2013, with a thesis on the work of Jan Patocka, in the areas of ethics and phenomenology, and focused on issues of freedom and responsibility in our relationship with the world. Previously, she completed a Masters at the University of Lisbon, with a thesis about meaning and the "care of the soul" in Jan Patocka, and a B.A. in Philosophy at Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado. She worked as lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia, in Fremantle, and upon returning to Portugal, developed a postdoctoral research project about truth in narrative identity at University of Beira Interior. Ines Rodrigues has presented and published both nationally and internationally in the areas of phenomenology and ethics.
