I am a curious and ambitious young scientist who graduated in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon (FC/ULisboa), which provided me with fundamental knowledge and skills and incited my curiosity and interest in scientific findings and teamwork. I recently completed my master's degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (FF/ULisboa). Where, under the tutelage of Prof. João Gonçalves, I developed my Thesis project who aimed to characterize the immune responses triggered by SARS-CoV-2 and find patterns associated with the quality and amplitude of the immune response in severe COVID-19 patients. The results from my Thesis have already been submitted to publication. Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant in the Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology group at the Research Institute for Medicines (iMed.ULisboa), the R&D Unit of FF/ULisboa that promotes pharmaceutical research to improve human health through disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. I consider myself an organized, responsible, and dedicated person, who loves a good challenge.
