Bruno Pedrosa graduated in Civil Engineering (Structural Mechanics) in 2017 at the University of Coimbra and got his doctoral degree on Steel and Composite Construction in 2023 at the same institution with the thesis entitled Fatigue Assessment of Resin-Injected Shear Connections: From Material to Structural Detail. He is now a contracted researcher at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto in the project NEXUS: Innovation Pact Digital and Green Transition - Transports, Logistics and Mobility. He published 16 journal papers, 7 conference abstracts and 13 conference papers. He was co-supervisor in 3 Master Thesis in different institutions: Mechanical Engineering in University of Porto and University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and Civil Engineering in Delft University of Technology. He is member of scientific committees in 5 journals: Alexandria Engineering Journal (Elsevier), International Journal of Fatigue (Elsevier), International Journal of Structural Integrity (Emerald), Engineering Failure Analysis (Elsevier) and Engineering Fracture Mechanics (Elsevier).
