I completed my Master's in Social and Health Psychology in November 2019 at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. My thesis was developed within the scope of the SOS_PAIN project (IP: Sónia Bernardes), funded by FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology (PTDC / MHC-PSC / 2041/2014). In January 2020, I was awarded a research assistant position under a project funded by the BIAL Foundation – COping with PAin through Hypnosis, mindfulness, and Spirituality – to investigate the impact of hypnosis, mindfulness, and spirituality as coping strategies for pain. In September 2020, I was funded by the FCT (2020.10251.BD) to do my Ph.D. - PSY-COVID: PSYchological impact of COVID-19 and its consequences - in Health Psychology at William James Center for Research (WJCR) at Ispa - University Institute. I finished my Ph.D. in December 2024 with the highest grade, having published 10 articles in scientific journals in Q1 and Q2 and receiving a merit researcher award.
